Job Overview
The qualified candidate must have the ability to create complex stored procedures for querying data according to user requirements and also generate reports using Business Intelligence tools like Hyperion and Cognos. The ability to create, execute and maintain ETL processes is required as well.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop scripts for new email campaigns and maintain the current scripts.
• Convert current email campaign scripts into SQL procedures, so that they can be automated and re-used.
• Work directly with Marketing to facilitate the creation of new marketing campaigns.
• Develop improved systems and reports to automate the collection and reporting of email campaign performance metrics.
• Develop a streamlined contract management system to ensure the accuracy of the current royalty and bounty processes, and to improve these processes by making them data- driven.
• Implement a data warehouse test environment to support future email campaign creation.
• Maintain current schedules and processes; publish any new jobs and schedules on Hyperion Performance Suite.
Qualifications:
• Experience and knowledge with software development life cycles and relational databases.
• At least 1 year of experience programming with Oracle database.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is a must
• Experience writing and tuning SQL queries. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of both database design concepts including normalization and performance tuning.
• Experience with Hyperion and Cognos Reporting tools is a plus.
• Apache Configuration and PHP Scripting experience (a plus).
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
