Manager, AudibleKids Merchandising

Job Overview:
The position of Manager, AudibleKids Merchandising is an opportunity for the right individual to join a major internet brand and distributor of digital content in a key role with major growth potential. Position will be responsible for leading promotional activities of AudibleKids (Audible.com’s newly launched retail site for parents and their children), as well as growing performance of the children’s product category throughout Audible.com. The right candidate will blend a passion for children’s audiobooks with creative promotional thinking and strong analytical skills.

Key Accountabilities:
• Develop and implement promotions to drive conversion, unit sales, and profit for AudibleKids website.
• Create and manage email programs that increase frequency of visits, site usage and community participation by AudibleKids customers.
• Leverage and analyze data (sales, site traffic, etc) to drive and inform all decisions, and communicate results to senior management.
• Manage product selection to optimize growth and profitability of key sub-categories.
• Coordinate promotions and discount programs with key content providers, maintain upcoming children’s publishing schedule, and summarize and highlight key titles for use throughout AudibleKids team.
• Partner with Acquisition team to implement product mix that optimizes response and conversion.
• Work with design and editorial teams to ensure that marketing communication goals are met.
• Write product-based copy as required for on-site and email promotions.
• Build promotional pages and incentives via systems tools.
• Partner with IT and User Experience teams in the execution of all efforts.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of ecommerce experience.
• Expertise in children’s books / publishing, children’s media or children’s retail.
• Strong analytical capability and a solid understanding of success metrics.
• Organized, self-starter and a quick learner.
• MS office skills, including Excel and Powerpoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work effectively in matrix organizations.
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
• Bachelors Degree or higher.
